Welcoming a new life is one of the most meaningful moments a family can experience — and as your personal photographer, I’m here to preserve this magic with calmness, sensitivity, and an artistic eye. For those soft, dreamy portraits that capture your baby’s very first days, the ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is between 6 and 14 days after birth. During this stage, babies sleep deeply, allowing me to gently pose them and create those timeless images every parent loves.

When to Book Your Session

Because newborn photography is time-sensitive, I recommend booking your session during your pregnancy. I reserve a personalized time window around your due date, ensuring I can photograph your baby — even if they arrive earlier or later than expected. As I work exclusively alone, each session is handled with full attention, flexibility, and care. My studio offers a carefully curated selection of handmade newborn accessories — soft wraps, delicate bonnets, tiny outfits, baskets and textiles designed especially for newborn portraits. These elements allow me to create beautifully styled, artistic images with a timeless aesthetic. At the same time, many families love the purity and authenticity of lifestyle photography. If you prefer a more natural look, I photograph your baby in your arms, on soft fabrics, or in simple, cozy settings that focus on connection rather than props. Both styles can be combined in one session, depending on what feels right for you.

Should Parents Be in the Photos? Absolutely.
These first days with your baby pass in the blink of an eye, and they deserve to be remembered — not only through portraits of your little one, but also through the connection you share as a family. Many mothers don’t feel photo-ready after birth, and that is completely normal. With gentle posing, flattering angles, and natural retouching, I ensure you look radiant and comfortable. For a soft, timeless look, I recommend wearing light, neutral or pastel colors without bold patterns or logos. If your baby has older siblings, we will also create beautiful, heartfelt family images that capture the joy of this new chapter.
